Enable and disable Microsoft Forms

By default, Microsoft Forms is enabled for your organization. As an admin, you can set up Microsoft Forms, then disable and enable it again it by following these steps:

  1. Sign in to Office 365 with your work or school account.

  2. Go to the Office 365 admin center.

  3. Choose Users.

  4. On the Active Users page, choose All Users, and then choose Edit product licenses.

  5. Select Replace existing product license agreements > Next.

  6. Expand the Office 365 license to see all the features.

  7. Move the Microsoft Forms toggle to Off, and then choose Replace. Of course, to enable it again, move the toggle to On.

    If you turn off Microsoft Forms while a quiz or survey is going on, users won't be able to access the Forms site anymore. The quiz or survey they created and sent before Microsoft Forms was disabled can still be filled out, but they won't see the responses.
