Edit Role

Role. Name of the user role to be edited.

Account Administration. Grants the access rights of the Account Administrator role to any user role.

Address Book. Grants this user role access rights to the account address book.

Meeting Organization

Meeting Types. Grants rights to schedule meetings or use Meet Now to this user role.

  • Meet Now Only. Allows members with this user role to use Meet Now but not to schedule meetings.

  • Scheduled and Meet Now. Gives users with this role rights to schedule meetings and use Meet Now.

Meeting Features

Enable sharing of control while sharing program or desktop. Allows hosts to share control in meetings that are organized by members with this user role.

  • Single Program. Allows sharing of only one application at a time in meetings that are organized by members with this user role.

  • Desktop and Single Program. Allows sharing of the desktop or of single applications in meetings that are organized by members with this user role.

Print to PDF. Grants rights to print content of meetings organized by members with this user role.

  • Presenters Only. Allows only Presenters in the meetings that are organized by members with this user role to print the content of those meetings.

  • All Participants. Allows all participants in meetings that are organized by this member to print the content of those meetings.

Custom Frame. Allows users with this role to include a custom streaming media frame in the meetings that they organize.

Recording to server. Grants rights to record the content of meetings that are organized by members with this user role.

  • Manage Existing Recordings Only. Grants members with this user role the right to manage existing recordings only.

  • Create and Manage Recordings. Grants members with this user role the right to create and manage recordings.

Recording to participant's computer. Grants permission to record the content of meetings that are organized by members with this user role.

  • Allow Presenters to record. Grants presenters the right to record the meeting to their computers in meetings that are organized by members with this user role.

  • Allow Presenters to record and permit Attendees to record. In meetings that are organized by members with this user role, grants presenters the right to record the meeting to their computers, and allows them to grant attendees the right to record the meeting to their computers.

Easy Assist:

Allow creation of Easy Assist sessions. Allows the member to create Eassy Assist support sessions.

Use these settings only for new Administrators | Organizers | Members. Retains settings configured for individual members with the user role you are currently editing.

Overwrite settings for All Existing Administrators | Organizers | Members. Overwrites settings configured for individual members with the user role you are currently editing.

Reset. Resets the settings for the specified user role.

Submit. Changes the settings for the specified user role.

Cancel. Exits the Edit Role page without changing the settings for the user role.

User role settings can be changed on a case-by-case basis by editing an individual membership.
