Use the Edit Lookup Table dialog box to create, review, or revise a lookup table that's associated with a custom field. The lookup table makes it possible for you and other users to choose from a list of preset values rather than typing them. The lookup table is also referred to as a "value list." In the Edit Lookup Table dialog box, you can:
Specify preset values for custom Cost, Date, Duration, Finish, Number, Outline Code, Start, and Text fields.
Set a default value for the custom field.
Establish the order in which values in the lookup table should appear.
Specify whether additional items can be added to the lookup table through data entry.
Create the code mask for an outline code.
