Download a Letter of Authorization (LOA)

The Letter of Authorization (LOA) gives us permission to request, on your behalf, transferring the existing number(s) from a different service provider in case of a dispute. Use an LOA if you have service numbers for audio conferencing bridges, auto attendants or other service numbers, toll-free phone numbers or have more than 999 user (subscriber) phone numbers that you need to transfer to Skype for Business (or if you don't want to use the Local Number Porting wizard). You must manually submit a customer service request with this LOA to get phone numbers transferred from your current service provider.

If you have service numbers for audio conferencing bridges, auto attendants or other service numbers, toll-free phone numbers or have more than 999 user phone numbers that you need to transfer to Skype for Business, you need to manually submit a port order.

If you aren't sure of the types of phone numbers that you will be asking us to transfer, see Different kinds of phone numbers used in Skype for Business Online.

Important: When you manually port phone numbers using a Letter of Authorization (LOA), make sure you select the correct type of phone number. You must submit separate port orders for each type of phone number you want to transfer.
