Delegate Access: Let someone else mind your calendar
Delegate the responsibility of managing your calendar to someone else. A delegate manages someone else's schedule, meetings, and appointments, freely and visibly. Outlook makes it easy to do this.
About this course
This course includes:
Two practice sessions for hands-on experience. Practices require Outlook 2007.
A Quick Reference Card you can take away from the course.
After completing this course you will be able to:
Make someone a delegate with access to your calendar.
Act as a delegate, request and accept meetings and schedule appointments on behalf of someone else.
Before you begin
You should complete the course Calendar II: See and use multiple calendars or be familiar with basic calendar sharing and side-by-side calendars.
Note The features discussed in this course work only when you're using Outlook with Microsoft Exchange Server. Not sure if you're using Exchange? See Demo: Got Exchange? See how to check.
Delegation involves (at least) two people. We assume that you're taking this course with sharing in mind, and that you have someone in mind to share with. If you can, take this course along with that person. The two of you can do the practices together and experience delegate access in action.
