Create a Web link to an assignment in Planning Business Modeler

You can create a Web link to an assignment that you can put in a Windows SharePoint Services Web Part or e-mail message. When a user clicks the link, Microsoft Excel starts and the specified assignment from the specified application is opened.

Web links to assignments are included in e-mail notifications. You can enable automatic e-mail notifications when you create or edit a cycle. For instructions, see Edit cycle properties.

Note:  Hyperlinks created as described here will be active only on computers where the PerformancePointProtocolHandler.exe file has been installed and the register command has been run.
