How do I get a Microsoft account to get started on Office.com?

You already have a Microsoft account if you use any of the following:

  • Hotmail (example@hotmail.com or example@live.com)

  • Outlook.com

  • Your own email address that is registered as a Microsoft account (Gmail, Yahoo, and others.)

  • Xbox LIVE

  • OneDrive

  • MSN

  • Messenger

Office 365 Home subscription benefits

Office 365 Home subscription includes these benefits:

  • Get access to all Office applications, like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Software updates occur automatically so you always have the latest versions of Office applications.
