Notes: PowerPoint, Publisher, and Word have additional options for changing the font color:

  • In PowerPoint, use the eyedropper to extract a sample of any color you point to and click on. You can then apply that color to another element in your PowerPoint slides.

  • In Publisher, you can fine-tune the font color with tinting and fill effects. Publisher also includes a tool called Sample Font Color, which similar to the eyedropper in PowerPoint.

  • In Word, use the gradient tool to change the color, transparency, and shade of the text.
