Change the default font or text color for email messages

In Outlook, the font is automatically set for you to create, reply to, or forward an email message is 11-point Calibri. You can change the font and its color, size, and style (such as bold or italic).

Tip:  Recipients of your messages must also have the same font installed on his or her computer so they see the message the same way it appears on your computer. If the font you use isn't installed on the recipient's computer, the recipient's mail program substitutes an available font.
