With the Weather Bar on the Outlook calendar, you’ll know whether to pack an umbrella or take along your sunglasses. Forecasts are available for cities worldwide.

Outlook Weather Bar

Note: The Weather Bar is not available in classic Outlook, Version 2311 Build 16929.15000 and later.

Change the city

  1. Next to the Weather Bar city, click the down arrow.

Select a city on the Weather Bar location list

  2. Click the city that you want.

Add a city

Add your favorite cities to the Weather Bar. You can then quickly switch to the three-day forecast for up to five cities.

  1. Next to the location name, click the down arrow, and then click Add location.

Add Location command on the Weather Bar

  2. In the search box, type a city, and then click Search Location search button or press Enter. You can also enter a ZIP or Postal Code.

If multiple cities match your search, click the city that you want.

Delete a city

Follow these steps to remove cities from the Weather Bar you no longer want to see.

  1. Next to the Weather Bar city name, click the down arrow.

  2. Click the city you want to remove.

  3. Click Weather Bar location delete icon.

Select and delete a city from the Weather Bar

If the maximum of five cities are already saved to the list, deleting a city allows you to add other cities.

Note: The Weather Bar list always has to contain at least one location; you can’t delete a location if it’s the only one in the list.
