Apply custom and advanced animation effects

When you want to drive home your message, you can create and play custom animation effects during your presentation. You can also use professionally designed animated templates in your presentations. We've done the animation work for you!

Note   In PowerPoint, animation effects are not the same as transitions. A transition animates the way one slide changes to the next. To add a transition between slides, see Add transitions between slides.

Use a template that has advanced animation effects

Travel routes on a map (Widescreen, 16:9 format)
Animates the lines between different points on a map. You can replace the map with your own and adjust the route.

Animates the sparkles around the picture frame. Just replace the pictures with your own.

Overlapping text

Overlapping transparent text (Widescreen, 16:09 format)
Text slides in from the right and left and overlaps as they pass by. It’s easy to replace the text with your own.

Animates pictures in circle shapes along a curved path. Just replace the pictures with your own.

Fades from grayscale to color

Picture fades from grayscale to color (Widescreen, 16:9 format)
Uses animation to gradually change a picture from grayscale to full color. Just replace the picture with your own.

Rectangles curve up and grow

Squares curve up and grow in sequence (Widescreen, 16:9 format)
Animates three squares that curve up from the bottom of the slide and grow as they glide into place. Replace the text with your own.
