Add email accounts when you first start Outlook.

Add an email account
  1. Select Settings, select Add Account, and then select Add Email Account.

  2. Enter your e-mail address, and then select Add Account.

  3. Select an email provider from the list.

    Note: If you cannot find your email provider, then select IMAP.

  4. Enter your password to sign in.

Office Mobile Quick Start Guides

To get started, tap the Outlook icon. And then tap the blue Get Started button.

You can swipe through and view some features of Outlook and then tap Add an Account.

Outlook supports many different types of e-mail addresses.

From Office 365 to Yahoo! Mail to Gmail to even a regular IMAP account if you're adding your home internet service provider's e-mail address.

In this case, I'm going to tap Exchange.

From here, I'll put in my Exchange e-mail address. If you chose any other service, such as Yahoo! or Google for Gmail, you'll be walked through the account.

You will need your e-mail address and password ready.

When you're all set, tap Go and Outlook will begin to sync your data.

Once its synced, my e-mail will automatically be visible on my iPad, I can add a new e-mail address at any time by tapping Settings in the bottom right hand side of the screen and then tapping Add Account on the left hand side. Its going to bring me back to the same screen.

And I can then add an additional e-mail account.

This time I'll tap Google, I'm going to add my personal Gmail.

I'll put in my e-mail address and tap Next.

And then I'll put in my password.

Tap Sign in and give Outlook permission to view everything from my Gmail account.

I'll tap Allow in the bottom right hand side.

And now I can see that I have two e-mail accounts that have been added.

Once again, I can tap Add Account if I want to add more.

And I can tap on each account to view the settings or tap Delete Account to get rid of it entirely.

I can also scroll down on the left hand side and view the settings for each account.

I can add a signature, I can choose my swipe options. I can decide whether or not I want to use Focused Inbox, I can also choose some calendar settings.

For example, the default view and when the week is going to start. To get back to your e-mail, tap mail in the bottom left hand side of the screen.
