Add bullets or numbers to text

Use bullets or numbers to present a lot of text or a sequential process in a Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 presentation.

  1. In the pane that contains the Outline and Slides tabs, click a slide thumbnail.

  2. On the slide, select the lines of text in a text placeholder or table that you want to add bullets or numbering to.

  3. On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click Bullets or Numbering.

    Note   To change the style of bullets or numbers, the color or size, to manually change the number that you want to start from, to increase or decrease spacing between a bullet and the text, and so on see Make changes to bullets or numbers.
