Act as a delegate

When the start date for a delegation arrives, the user who will be substituting for the absent user must choose to become a delegate in order to start working in Project Web App as the absent user.

  1. On the Quick Launch, click Personal Settings.

  2. Click Act as a Delegate.

  3. In the table, click the delegation that you want to act on, and then click Start Delegate Session on the Delegations tab of the Ribbon.

  4. When you've completed the work you needed to do as a delegate for the absent user, click the link in the yellow status bar to return to the Act as a Delegate page.

  5. Click Stop Delegate Session on the Delegations tab of the Ribbon to return to your own account.
