Skype for Business in Outlook on the web includes accessibility features that make it easy for users with disabilities to exchange instant messages with their contacts. This means you can use keyboard shortcuts and a screen reader to work with Skype for Business in Outlook on the web.

Use a screen reader
In Skype for Business in Outlook on the web, you can use Narrator, the built-in screen reader in Windows, or a third-party screen reader, such as JAWS. A screen reader converts text to speech and reads aloud commands, locations, lists, and buttons, in addition to the content itself. Use keyboard shortcuts
To navigate in Skype for Business in Outlook on the web and to cycle through screen elements, use the Tab key and arrow keys.
To move from the All Contacts tab to the Contacts list, press the Tab key until you hear “List view.” In Narrator, you hear the name of the first contact.
To move individually through the names of your contacts in the Contacts pane, press the Down Arrow key or the Up Arrow key. When a contact has the focus, you hear his or her name and current status. To open the contact card for a selected contact, press Enter.
To move through the various controls in Skype for Business in Outlook on the web, press the Tab key (forward) or Shift+Tab (backward). To select a control, press Enter.
To exit Skype for Business in Outlook on the web, press Esc.
To cycle from Skype for Business in Outlook on the web to Outlook on the web to the browser, press Ctrl+F6.
