Link to
Specifies the type of information to which you want to link: a database table, a database view (query), a system table, or an alias name for a table. This option changes the list of names in the Link to Database dialog box.
Shape actions
Shape actions are commands that are added to the shape's shortcut menu.
Select record Adds a command to select the database record you want to link a shape to.
Refresh shape Adds a command to refresh the shape to match the database record it's linked to.
Update record Adds a command to update the values in the database to match the shape data.
Delete shape and record Adds a command to delete the shape and the database record it's linked to.
Shape drop event
None No action is taken when you drop a master or copy a shape.
Select record When you drop a master or copy a shape, you're prompted to select the record you want the shape to link to.
Refresh shape When you drop a master or copy a shape, the new shape is refreshed to match the database record the master or copied shape is linked to.
