With OneNote on your Android phone or tablet, your notes can go wherever you go.

Get the OneNote app

  1. Tap Play Store.

  2. Search for Microsoft OneNote.

  3. Tap Install. The app appears on your home screen when it’s done installing.

Open the OneNote app for the first time

  1. Tap OneNote.

  2. Tap Sign In and type your work or school email, and then tap Next.

  3. Enter your password, and then tap Sign in.

Open a different notebook

  • Tap More Notebooks, or tap + Notebook to create a new one.

Start taking notes

  1. Select an existing section and page.

  2. Tap anywhere on the page to type a note or draw one.
