You can scan images and store them in Microsoft Clip Organizer.

Note: Microsoft Office Clip Organizer is no longer included after Office 2010 and is not available in apps in Office 2013 or later versions.

Add clips

Microsoft Clip Organizer lets you scan clips and add directly to your collections.

  1. With your scanner ready and the image on the scanner glass, in Clip Organizer, on the File menu, point to Add Clips to Organizer, and then click From Scanner or Camera.

  2. In the Insert Picture from Scanner or Camera dialog box, under Device, select the scanner.

  3. Click Insert.

The new clip appears in the My Collections folder, in a folder that is named after your scanner.
