Moving a task to a date before the project is scheduled to begin

You have moved a task to a date that is earlier than the start date of the project.

Using the Planning Wizard, you can:

Continue to move the task before the project start date.

Microsoft Project will move the task to the date that you specified.

Cancel the move.

Project will not move the task.

If you move the task, you may want to change the project's start date. When you change the project's start date, Project will move all tasks that do not have links, constraints, or an explicit start date to the new project start date. To change the project start date, click Project Information on the Project menu, and then change the start date.

If you don't want the Planning Wizard to display this information again, select the Don't tell me about this again check box.
