When the Reminder dialog box pops up, it means something needs your attention. An appointment or meeting is coming up, or maybe it’s time to respond to an email or finish a task.

You can turn off each item by clicking Dismiss. And the Snooze button works like the one on your alarm clock at home—click it to get another reminder in a few minutes, hours, or even days.

  • To postpone a reminder, click the down arrow, choose a time delay, and then click Snooze.

  • To dismiss a reminder, click Dismiss.

  • To dismiss all reminders, click Dismiss All.
