Some subscriptions allow you to install Office on more than one computer that you use. You just sign in with the same account and use the same installation procedures. So, for example, you can work on your laptop when you're portable and your desktop at home.

  • Office 365 Personal allows you to install on 1 PC or Mac, 1 tablet (including iPad and Android tablet), and 1 phone.

  • Office 365 Home allows you to install on 5 PCs or Macs, 5 tablets (including iPad and Android tablet), and 5 phones.

  • Office 365 University allows you to install on 2 PCs, Macs, or tablets (including iPad and Android tablet) and 2 phones.

Office 365 Home also allows you to share your subscription with family members who use their own accounts. Read about how to invite someone to share your subscription.
