1. Adding people to your contacts list

Add people from inside or outside your company to your contacts list, so you can reach them quickly.

2. Checking presence status and sending an IM

Check to see if someone’s available and quickly start a chat session. You can then invite others to the conversation if you want.

3. Scheduling a Lync meeting

Use Outlook or Outlook Web App to schedule a Lync Meeting with people inside or outside your company.

4. Joining a Lync meeting

Join a meeting with Lync or Lync Web App, or simply call into the meeting if you’re on the go. You can even use your mobile device to join a meeting if you're not at your desk.
