Use Mail for Windows 10 with your keyboard and a screen reader to save an attached file from an email to your device. We have tested it with Narrator, but it might work with other screen readers as long as they follow common accessibility standards and techniques.
Save an attachment from an email
Open the email message that contains the attachment you want to save to your device.
Do one of the following:
To save all attachments in the mail to the same folder, press the Tab key until you hear "Save all attachments, link," and then press Enter. The Windows Select folder dialog opens.
If there's only one attachment or you want to save the attachments one by one in different folders, press the Tab key until you hear "Open," followed by the attachment file name. Press Shift+F10 to open the context menu. Press the Down arrow key until you hear "Save button," and press Enter. The Windows Open file dialog opens.
Navigate to the folder on your device where you want to save the files, and then press Enter. The files are saved to your device.
Note: If you want to save the attachments to your OneDrive instead, press the Tab key until you hear: "Tree view." Press the Up or Down arrow key until you hear until you hear "OneDrive," and then press Enter.
