Outlook on the web has a ton of features you might not know about. Check out a few quick tips to help you be more productive.
Like an email
Instead of typing a message to reply with your support for or satisfaction about an email you received, select the Thumbs-up icon to like it.
Make your emails more accessible
As you write an email, select More options > Check for accessibility issues.
A pane on the right will open with a list of issues that were found.
Select Fix this to improve or fix an issue.
For more information, see Make your Outlook email accessible to people with disabilities.
Ignore emails to keep your inbox clean
Not interested in an email conversation? Use Ignore to automatically delete a thread of messages and any new ones that arrive later.
Right-click a message and select Ignore.
Use Sweep to tidy up your inbox
Sweep quickly deletes unwanted email in your Inbox. You get options to automatically delete all incoming email from a particular sender, to keep only the latest email, or to delete email older than 10 days.
Select an email message from a sender whose messages you want to delete.
Note: The Sweep option isn't available from the following folders: Junk Email, Drafts, Sent Items, and Deleted Items.
Choose how you want to handle email messages from the sender you chose.
Select Sweep to perform the selected action.
Note: Features and information in this guide apply to Outlook on the web as available through Office 365.
