Share your PowerPoint presentation with others

Share your presentation by saving it to the cloud and sending it to others.

Your browser does not support video. Install Microsoft Silverlight, Adobe Flash Player, or Internet Explorer 9.

Share a presentation by saving it to the cloud and sending it to others

  1. Select Share.

  2. Select where to save your presentation to the cloud.

  3. Choose a permission level.

  4. Select Apply.

  5. Enter names and a message.

  6. Select Send.

Stop sharing a OneDrive or SharePoint file

Stop sharing a file by turning off the permissions in OneDrive. Open portal.office.com (for an organizational account) or onedrive.live.com (for a personal account) and navigate in OneDrive to the folder or file to be changed. See Stop sharing OneDrive files or folders or change permissions for specific steps.

Share by using a traditional email attachment:

If you don't want to share a document with others to collaborate on, simply use a traditional email attachment to send the presentation to others.

This feature is only available if you have an Office 365 subscription. If you are an Office 365 subscriber, make sure you have the latest version of Office.

  1. To send your presentation as a copy or a PDF, select Share.

  2. Select Attach a Copy Instead in the Share dialog box.

  3. Select either PowerPoint Presentation or PDF.

    PowerPoint will open the email application and attach the file to a new message. Enter the recipients details and a short message, and click Send.

This feature is only available if you have an Office 365 subscription. If you are an Office 365 subscriber, make sure you have the latest version of Office.

  1. To send your presentation as a copy or a PDF, select Share.

  2. Select Send as attachment in the Share pane.

  3. Select either Send a copy or Send a PDF.

    PowerPoint will open the email application and attach the file to a new message. Enter the recipients details and a short message, and click Send.
