Rediscovered JET and ODBC white papers

The other day, we were rummaging through the Access vaults and quite by accident rediscovered assorted JET and ODBC white papers of vintage variety. Although edges were frayed, pages were yellowed, and the ink was faded, they were still eminently readable. After suitable time elapsed, wherein we basked in all the nostalgia and reminiscence we could absorb, we decided that Access aficionados like yourselves might benefit from the same trip down memory lane.

Without further ado, here are said Jet white papers, four in all, entitled:

  • How to keep a JET 4.0 database in top working condition

  • Microsoft JET 3.5 Performance Overview and Optimization Techniques

  • JET Database Engine version 3.0 ODBC Connectivity

  • Understanding Microsoft JET Locking

  • Improved ODBC Data Type Mappings with Jet 4.0
