Occasionally, a team member may leave an enterprise object in a state such that he or she cannot check it back into Microsoft Office Project Server 2007. As an administrator, you can force a check-in of enterprise objects, such as projects, resources, fields, calendars, lookup tables, and resource plans.
On the Quick Launch, click Server Settings.
On the Server Settings page, click Force Check-in Enterprise Objects.
In the Select the type of object you want to force check-in list, click the type of objects that you want to display in the table.
Select the object that you want to check in, and then click Check In.
Note: When you check in an object that is checked out, the user who has the object checked out can save changes to the database only if he or she saves the object as a new object. Otherwise, the user needs to check out the object again and then make the same changes.
Why can't I perform some actions in Microsoft Office Project Web Access?
Depending on the permissions settings you used to log on to Project Web Access, you may not be able to see or use certain features. Also, what you see on some pages may differ from what is documented if your server administrator customized Project Web Access and did not customize the Help to match.
