What is "Skype for Business Project Hero" and what data does it use?
Skype for Business Hero allows your IT Administrator to reward you for using Skype for Business to collaborate and communicate. The program represents the use of Skype for Business in an easy to digest format—in the form of usage badges tailored to your organization. Each badge represents an increased level of use of Skype for Business. The "Skype for Business Project Hero" program uses existing data collected by Skype for Business and does not require any additional, or increased levels, of data to be collected about any individual use of Skype for Business.
Information about use of Skype for Business is already collected by your organization. The "Skype for Business Project Hero" program rewards are based on usage data, such as the number of calls made, the number of IM's sent and the number of times features, like screen sharing, are used. The rewards you receive are based on these interactions and your level of product use.
As part of opting into the "Skype for Business Project Hero" program, your IT Administrator receives a set of achievement related reports for your organization. This allows the IT Administrator to issue the reward badges for user achievements. Microsoft receives a report of the number of achievements earned by the organization as a whole. Microsoft does not receive any additional user data as part of the program and the report Microsoft receives does not identify any individual users within your organization.

How will the "Skype for Business Project Hero" data be used?
The Skype for Business Project Hero program is a tool for your IT Administrators. The Program is intended to promote awareness of the Skype for Business application, to incentivize and reward usage, and to provide links to training and additional Skype for Business resources.
Can I opt-out of the "Skype for Business Project Hero" program?
Absolutely. To stop taking part, simply complete the Opt-Out form and Skype for Business usage data will no longer be included in the "Skype for Business Project Hero" program or communications. Opting out of "Skype for Business Project Hero" will not prevent data being collected as described by the Skype for Business Privacy Statement.
