With Office 365, you can install Office on all your devices and be signed in to five at the same time. This includes any combination of PCs, Macs, tablets, and phones.
You'll be prompted to sign in with your Microsoft account when you install Office. Be sure to sign in using the account you used to buy or subscribe to Office. If you sign out of Office, you can always sign back in.
How to sign out if you reach your sign-in limit
If you see this message when you sign in to Office, you'll need to sign out of Office on another device before you can continue.
The easiest way to sign out of Office on a PC or Mac is by using your web browser.
From any device, go to your Microsoft account, Installs page and sign in using your Microsoft account, if prompted.
Under Devices, locate the device where you want to sign out of Office.
Select Sign out of Office.

Why do I see "We didn't find any Office products" when I sign in?
This message appears if your account doesn't have any Office products associated with it. Try signing in with the account you used to buy or subscribe to Office.
What happens if I sign out of Office?
You might lose some subscription features if you sign out. We recommend that you stay signed in to Office on the devices you use the most.
What happens if I use Office without signing in?
Office will periodically prompt you to sign in. After you sign in, Office remembers your account and keeps you signed in.
What if I'm not connected to the Internet?
Office works without an Internet connection for 30 days. You'll see warnings if you haven't connected in awhile. After 30 days, Office will run in read-only mode. To enable editing, connect the device to the Internet.
If I share Office 365 Home, how does signing in work?
You can share your Office 365 Home subscription with up to five other people. Each person on the subscription can install Office on all their devices and be signed in to five at the same time. Get help sharing your subscription
Can other people sign in to Office on my device?
If a person signs in to your device without a subscription, Office will run in read-only mode. If you have Office 365 Home, you can share your subscription with five additional people. Each person can sign in to your device and use Office after you share your subscription with them.
