This article explains how to delete some of the data that resides in StaffHub. Please note that deleted data cannot be restored.
Since Managers create shifts, only Managers can delete them. There are a couple of ways you can do this:
On Week or Month view, hover over a single shift and click the ellipsis (...) or select multiple shifts and right-click. A small menu will open up, which contains the Delete shift option. Click Delete and the selected shifts will get deleted.
On all schedule views, you can select shifts and click the Delete button from the keyboard, which will delete the shift.
Note: Deleting a shift will delete all the data that resides within a shift like shift start/end time, shift color, shift notes, activities, etc.
Since Managers create activities, only Managers can delete them. There are a couple of ways you can do this:
Delete a shift that contains activities from day, week or month view. Doing this will delete all activities within that shift.
Delete activities from Shift & Activities panel. Open the panel, navigate to the Activities section and click Delete. Once you save, the deleted activities can't be retrieved.
Delete through Day view. Select the activities you want to remove and click Delete.
Only team managers and the person who created a to-do can delete it.
From the To-do list page, choose the to-do you want to delete.
On the to-do details page, choose Delete on the bottom of the page.
A pop-up will appear, asking you to confirm your action. Once confirmed, the to-do will be deleted permanently and no one in the team will be able to see it anymore.
Delete Team Members from StaffHub
Team managers can delete members of a team from StaffHub web. To do so, navigate to the Team Members page, hover over the team member you'd like to delete and a delete icon will appear on the right. Click on the delete icon, and the member will be deleted.
Members deleted from a StaffHub team are only removed from that particular team and not removed from the tenant. To delete a team member from a tenant, go to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
Since Managers add files on StaffHub, only Team Managers can delete these files. This can be done by navigating to the Files tab on StaffHub web and hovering over the file or link that you want to delete. On hover, the delete icon will appear. You can click that to delete the file.
Note: Deleting the file from StaffHub will delete it from SharePoint as well, and vice versa since all StaffHub files are saved on SharePoint.
Delete Employee Resources
Since tenant admins add Employee Resources on https://staffhub.office.com/admin, only tenant admins can delete them. To delete a resource, simply erase the link and title from the given text boxes on the admin page.
Delete a Team
Team Managers can delete a team by navigating to the Settings on StaffHub web and choosing the Delete Team button on top left of the Settings page.
Tenant Admins can delete a team by adding themselves to a specific team and then following the above instructions to delete the team from the Settings page.
