Delete a page in OneNote Online

You can remove pages from your notebooks using OneNote Online with your preferred browser on a PC, Mac, or tablet.

Make sure that you really want to get rid of them — page deletions are permanent.

Caution: Unlike the full-featured OneNote apps, where you can use Ctrl+Z (Windows) or ⌘+Z (Mac) to undo your last actions, deleting pages in OneNote Online is immediate and cannot be undone.

  1. In OneNote Online from your preferred browser, go to the section containing the page or subpage that you want to delete.

  2. Do one the following:

    • From a PC or Mac, right-click (PC) or Control-click (Mac) the page name, and then click Delete Page.

    • From a touch-enabled device (such as an iPad or other tablet), press and hold the page name until you see a checkmark next to the page. On the bottom, tap the trash icon.
