Why isn't my device listed in Office Starter To-Go Device Manager?

The Microsoft Office Starter To-Go Device Manager supports USB flash devices that are writable. Larger devices, such as removable hard drives, are not supported. Read-only devices are also not supported.

If your device is not displayed in the device manager list, try the following:

  • Make sure it is securely plugged in. To test whether the device is actually plugged in, click the Windows Start button, click Computer, and see if your device is listed in the list of drives and devices.
