After you send an email message, you might want to find that email and resend it or forward it to someone else. In Outlook, you can find your sent messages in the Sent Items folder.
If the folder list on the left side of the window is collapsed, open it by clicking the arrow (>).
In the folder list, click Sent Items. If you've set up multiple email accounts in Outlook, each account has its own Sent Items folder.
Tip: If you don’t see the Sent Items folder, click the arrow on the left of your account folder to expand the list of folders.
Click the message you want to view.
Tip: You can search email quickly by using the search option. Search by using keywords used in the message or by using someone’s name. To narrow your search to a specific person or subject line, try typing To:<user name> or Subject:<keyword used in the subject line>.
Note: You might not be able to view your sent email messages if the default Outlook settings have been changed. To check your settings, click File > Options > Mail, and under Send messages, make sure the check box for Save copies of messages in Sent Items folder is selected. This option might not be available if you’re connected to an Exchange server.
Note: If a message is not successfully sent, for example, due to connectivity problems or logon issues, it remains in the Outbox. If you see your message there, it hasn't been sent. Make sure that your connection is working.
