Unload an add-in

Unloading an add-in prevents the add-in from running in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010. You can load it again later.

  1. Click the File tab.

  2. Under Help, click Options.

  3. In the PowerPoint Options dialog box, click Add-Ins.

  4. In the Manage list, select PowerPoint Add-ins, and then click Go.

  5. In the Available Add-Ins list, select the add-in that you want to unload, click Unload, and then click Close.

Remove an add-in

Removing an add-in prevents the add-in from appearing in PowerPoint 2010.

Note: Removing an add-in does not delete the add-in file from your computer. To delete the add-in from your computer, manually delete the file from its folder in Windows.

  1. Click the File tab.

  2. Under Help, click Options.

  3. In the PowerPoint Options dialog box, click Add-Ins.

  4. In the Manage list, select PowerPoint Add-ins, and then click Go.

  5. In the Available Add-Ins list, select the add-in that you want to remove, click Remove, and then click Close.
