The PSTN usage report

In the Office 365 admin center, you can locate lots of different types of reports, including those for Skype for Business Online. The PSTN usage report shows you the PSTN usage details for users over the last three (3) months that includes the number of minutes spent in inbound/outbound conference calls and cost for these calls.

You can view dial-in conferencing PSTN usage details including the cost of the call so that you can understand your usage and call billing details to determine usage within your organization.

To view this report
  1. Go to the Office 365 admin center > Reports.

  2. In the Office 365 Dashboard window, under Skype for Business click PSTN usage.

This report uses these metrics:



User Name

Shows the user's user principal name.

Date/Time of call

Shows the date and time of when the call ended.

Telephone Number

Shows the source or destination number based on inbound or outbound.


Shows the ID of the call. This is used for debugging, tracking and troubleshooting.

Call Type

Shows the direction of the call. Possible values are: InUser, OutUser, InConf, OutConf, Emergency


Shows the country code in ISO format of the user.

Call Duration

Shows the total call duration of the call in the HH:MM:SS format.


Shows the total price of the currency.

Call Charge

Shows the total price of the call.

Although it's easier to use the Office 365 admin center, you can also use the Get-CsPSTNUsageDetailReport cmdlet to create this Skype for Business Online report.
