Sync error – Can’t sync a section in your notebook

If you see this sync error even after you manually sync your notebook, try moving the contents of the section causing issues to a new one and then sync again. Here’s how:

  1. Click the notebook drop down and look for the notebook with the error status indicator.

  1. Make note of the section that’s causing the issue. The section name is displayed above the error message.

  1. Click away to dismiss the notebook list.

  2. Click + to create a new section in the same notebook as the section containing the error.

  1. Copy a few of the pages at a time from the section that’s not syncing to the new section you just created.

  2. Delete the old section and then re-sync your notebook by clicking File > Sync This Notebook.

  3. If you still get the same sync error, copy a few more pages to another section, and re-sync your notebook. Continue doing this until you’re able to successfully sync.
