Start using Skype for Business for IM and online meetings

Office 365 includes Skype for Business, which lets you have instant messaging (IM), audio and video conversations, and Skype for Business Meetings. To download Skype for Business, sign in to Office 365, then at the top of the page, click Settings Settings: update your profile, install software and connect it to the cloud > Office 365 settings > Software > Skype for Business.

With Skype for Business you can:

  • See when people are available, away from their desk, or in a meeting

  • Send an instant message

  • Set up and join a Skype for Business Meeting

  • Share your desktop or a program in a Skype for Business Meeting

  • Make and receive audio and video calls
