Click options in the Save As dialog box to save a file to a file name, format, and location that you specify. If you are saving a file that has not been saved before, the Save As dialog box appears automatically when you click Save.

Using the Save As dialog box

Here’s how to use the Save As dialog box when you save a database object:

  • Save <object name> to     Type the name of the new object, where <object name> is the currently selected object.

  • As     Either leave the type of object the same as the original object, or select the type of object to which you want to convert the new object. Not all objects can be converted to different types of objects.

  • OK     To save the object, click OK.

  • Cancel     To go back to the object without saving it, click Cancel.
