Resolve the 0xE4020040 (StoreBusyRetryLater) Error when using OneNote 2010 with OneDrive

This error is typically caused by temporary maintenance of Microsoft OneDrive servers while trying to sync a OneDrive-based notebook in OneNote 2010.


The OneDrive server on which your notebook is stored is temporarily busy and unable to respond to synchronization requests.


This is a temporary issue that can be caused by routine server maintenance.

To resolve this issue, sync your notebook with OneDrive again at a later time.
