Quick reference: Skype for Business Online reporting

As an administrator for your organization, it would be handy to have a complete list of all of the different reports available in Skype_for_Business_Online. This is a quick reference that includes all of the different reports, the report metrics, and the cmdlet that is used to get the reporting information. Even though some of this information is advanced for most administrators using Windows PowerShell with the reporting cmdlet and metrics allow you to manage Office 365 using a single point of administration by using automated and scripted actions and can streamline gathering reporting information.

Caution: If you think your are getting inaccurate or incomplete reporting information, try the newly released Skype for Business activity reports. These new reports can be found in the new Office 365 admin center are replacing the Skype for Business reports that are found in the classic Office 365 admin center.

Note: Skype for Business Online reporting cmdlets are available in Exchange Online PowerShell. To connect to Exchange PowerShell, seeConnect to Exchange Online using remote PowerShell

Skype for Business Online reporting reference

In the Office 365 admin center, you can use different types of reports, including those for Skype for Business Online.

To view the reports
  1. Go to the Office 365 admin center > Reports.

  2. In the Office 365 Dashboard window, under Skype for Business click, the report that you want to look at.
