Payments report: options and information

Items marked with an asterisk (*) are available in Microsoft Office Accounting Professional 2008 and 2009 only.

The Payments report shows detailed information for all payments that you have issued to customers, vendors, or employees in a selected date range.

Open the report

  • On the Reports menu, point to Banking, and then click Payments.

Report content

Default information in this report includes dates, names, payments methods, check numbers, error messages, and payment issue status. To change column options, do the following:

  • On the toolbar, click Modify Report, and then in the Modify Report pane, select or clear the appropriate Columns options.

Change date range

To change the date range for this report, do the following:

  • On the toolbar, click the arrow next to Date Range, From, or To.

    *Foreign currency

    When Microsoft Office Accounting is set to use foreign currency, this report displays the payment amounts in the payee account currencies. In addition, the report changes to include columns that show the payment amounts in U.S. dollars (USD), the three-letter codes for the payee account currencies, and the exchange rates between the payee account currencies and U.S. dollars.
