Office 365 Reports in the Admin Center - StaffHub

The new Office 365 Reports dashboard shows you the activity overview across the Office 365 products in your organization. It enables you to drill in to individual product level reports to give you more granular insight about the activities within each product. See the Reports overview topic to see the list of all the available reports.

In the StaffHub report, you can gain insights into the activity of StaffHub Teams in your organization and see how many StaffHub Teams are actively used.

Note: You must be a global administrator in Office 365, or an Exchange, SharePoint, Skype for Business administrator, or reports reader to view Office 365 reports.

How to get to the StaffHub Team Activity report

  1. Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center > Reports > Usage.

  2. From the Select a report drop down, select StaffHub Team Activity.

Interpret the StaffHub Team Activity report

You can get a view into StaffHub Team activity by looking at the Teams and Activity charts.

Office 365 reports - StaffHub Teams Activity

1. The StaffHub Teams report can be viewed for trends over the last 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or 180 days. However, if you click into a particular day in the report, the table (7) will show data for up to 28 days from the current date (not the date the report was generated).

2. Each report has a date for when this report was generated. The reports usually reflect a 24 to 48 hour latency from time of activity.

3. The Activity view shows you the number of StaffHub activities. You can view the shifts edited on any day during the reporting period. You can also see messages sent, shift requests sent, shift requests approved, tasks created, tasks completed, and files uploaded and shifts edited.

4. The Teams view shows the active teams on that day based on shift requests sent, shift requests approved, messages sent, tasks created, tasks completed, files uploaded and shifts edited.

5. On the Activity chart, the Y axis is number of activities by type

On the Teams chart the Y axis is the number of active teams.

The X axis on the charts is the selected date range for the specific report.

6. You can filter the series you see on the chart by clicking an item in the legend. For example, on the Activity chart click or tap Shift requests approved to see that data. (you can also de-select it if it is already selected).

7. The list of Teams shown is determined by the set of all active teams that existed (weren't deleted) across the widest (180-day) reporting time frame. The activity count (Shifts Edited, Message Sent) will vary according to the date selection.

Note: You might not see all the items in the list below in the columns until you add them.

  • Team name

  • Team manager

  • Team manager email

  • Team size

  • Last activity date (UTC)

  • Active members

  • Storage used (MB)

  • Shifts edited

  • Shift requests sent

  • Shift requests approved

  • Tasks created

  • Task completed

  • Messages sent

  • Files uploaded

If your organization's policies prevents you from viewing reports where user information is identifiable, you can change the privacy setting for all these reports. Check out the How do I hide user level details? section in the Activity Reports in the Microsoft 365 admin center.

8. Click or tap More Actions button next to a column heading to add or remove columns from the report.

9. You can also export the report data into an Excel .csv file, by clicking or tapping the Export Office 365 reports - export your data to an Excel file link. This exports data of all teams and enables you to do simple sorting and filtering for further analysis. If you have less than 2000 teams, you can sort and filter within the table in the report itself. If you have more than 2000 teams, in order to filter and sort, you will need to export the data.
