Moving folders and reports in Management Reporter

You can move folders and reports in the report library.

When you move a folder that is used as the report output location for a report, Microsoft Office PerformancePoint 2007 Management Reporter maintains the link to the moved folder. As a result, if any of the reports in the moved folder are regenerated with Management Reporter, the reports will be updated in the moved folder.

When you move a report, you are moving a specific version of the report, not the original report. The next time the report is generated, Management Reporter places a new version of the report in the original report output location. The report you moved is an orphaned version of the report and is no longer displayed in the original report's version list.

To move a folder or report, do the following:

  1. In the navigation pane, click Report Library.

  2. Click a folder or report, and then drag it to a different folder or to the report library.
