Use the A/V Conferencing Servers tab to specify which A/V Conferencing Servers for which Monitoring Server will generate trouble alerts and to specify the alert threshold settings. If you are not using the Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Management Pack for System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) 2007, which includes Monitoring Server support, for near real-time monitoring of audio and video quality and performance counters are not being monitored, you do not need to make any configuration changes on this tab.
Note: These settings do not have any effect on the collection or storage of metrics reports, only on the monitoring and alerting policy for A/V Conferencing Servers.
A/V Conferencing Servers
Specify if an A/V Conferencing Server is enabled for alerting by the Monitoring Server. To enable an A/V Conferencing Server for alerting, select the check box next to the name of the A/V Conferencing Server. To disable alerting for an A/V Conferencing Server, clear the check box. Each individual A/V Conferencing Server will appear on this page after the first time it sends a metrics report to Monitoring Server.
To specify the threshold settings that are used to control alerting for the enabled A/V Conferencing Servers, click Thresholds. You can then edit the threshold settings for each performance counter. All A/V Conferencing Servers share the same alerting thresholds.
