  • Every Weekday. Indicates the meeting will take place every weekday.

  • Every Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | Saturday | Sunday. Indicates the days of the week on which the meeting will take place.

Range of Recurrence. Period of time during which the meeting will recur.

  • Start. Effective start date of the recurring meetings.

  • End. Effective end date of the recurring meetings.

OK. Accepts the recurrence settings for the meeting that is being scheduled.

Cancel. Closes the Meeting Recurrence dialog box without changing the schedule of recurrence.

When the Meeting Recurrence dialog box initially opens, the default settings are as follows:

  • Meeting Time has a start time that is the beginning of the next half hour mark and the end time is one hour after that. For example, if it is 9:45 AM when you are scheduling the meeting, the meeting start time is automatically set to 10:00 AM and the end time is automatically set to 11:00 AM.

  • Pattern is set to once a week on the current day of the week.

  • Range of Recurrence starts with the current date and extends for three months.

If you have a meeting with the same set of participants that recurs with a pattern that cannot be accommodated by the available options, you will have to schedule multiple meetings. For example, if you want to schedule a meeting that takes place between a certain set of hours on Tuesday, but a different set of hours of Thursday, you can create two separate meetings with the same invitees and meeting options.
