Manage bookings from your mobile device

The mobile version of Microsoft Bookings enables you to view your calendar, and manage your bookings and customer list.

If you're new to Bookings and haven't yet set up your service offerings, scheduling policies, or business information, you'll need to go to the web version of Bookings to do that first. See Say hello to Microsoft Bookings for instructions.

Note: Currently, Bookings is available to customers in the U.S. and Canada who have an Office 365 Business Premium subscription.

Download the app

  1. Download the app from your app store. At this time, the Bookings app is only available for iOS.

  2. Sign in with your Office 365 work or school account. Need help signing in? Bookings is available to users with the Office 365 Business Premium license.

  3. If you have multiple Bookings calendars, select the one you want. Otherwise, you'll go straight to today' list of appointments.

A quick tour

The Bookings app opens with today's calendar so you can see right away what customers, services, and staff are scheduled for the day. Navigation buttons are at the bottom of the screen.

The nav bar on the Bookings mobile app has three options: Calendar, Customers, and More

  1. In the nav bar, tap Customers.

  2. Tap Plus sign is the add button > Create a new customer.

  3. Type the customer name, email address, phone number, and address.

  4. Tap Save.

  2. Select the service that will be provided in this booking. The list of services available depends on what you defined in the web version of the app (see Define your service offerings). You can't create new services in the mobile app.

  3. On the New Booking page, tap Customer to enter a name or select one from the list. If this is a new customer, tap Create a new customer and fill in the customer details.

  4. Tap Staff to assign staff to this booking.

  5. Select a staff member > Done.

  6. Verify the booking start and end times are correct. If you change them, you might have to change the staff member too.

  7. If necessary, tap the address to update it.

    Select Save. An email notification will be sent to the customer and staff member. The booking will be listed on the calendar for the scheduled day.

  1. Tap Calendar > Plus sign is the add button .

  2. Tap the booking you want to cancel > Edit.

  3. On the Edit Booking page, tap the date and time.

  4. Select new start and end times. You might have to change the staff member too because the original one could be unavailable at the new time.

  5. Select Done.

  6. Select Save. An email notification will be sent to the customer and staff member. The booking will be listed on the calendar for the scheduled day.

  1. Tap Calendar > Plus sign is the add button .

  2. Tap the booking you want to cancel.

  3. Scroll down to the bottom and tap Cancel booking.

  4. On the Cancel page, type a note that explains the cancellation > Cancel Booking. A message will be sent to the customer and staff. The booking is removed from the calendar.
