Link from one slide show to another

Linking between presentations lets you leverage information in other presentations while also saving you time.

  1. In Normal view, select the text, shape, or picture that you want to use as a hyperlink.

  2. On the Insert tab, click Hyperlink.

  3. Under Link to, click Existing File or Web Page.

  4. Locate and select the presentation file that contains the slide that you want to link to.

  5. Click Bookmark, and then click the title of the slide that you want to link to.

Tip:  You’ll want to copy both presentations to the same file folder on your computer. If you do not copy the second (linked) presentation to the same location — or if you rename, move, or delete it — the second presentation will not be available when you click the hyperlink in the primary presentation.
