How to get help

If you need more information about using Microsoft Office Accounting 2009, you can get assistance from one or more of the following resources:

Accounting 2009 Help

To open the Help table of contents, do one of the following:

  • On the Help menu, click Microsoft Office Accounting 2009 Help.

  • Press F1.

To get information specific to the page, form, report, list, dialog box or wizard in which you are currently working, do one of the following:

  • On the Help menu, click Help with this Window.

  • Press F1.

  • On a form, report or list, click Help Button image on the toolbar.

  • In a dialog box, click Help.

  • In a wizard, click Help.

Browse or search to find information in Help. When you are done, you can switch between Help and Accounting 2009 by clicking the appropriate button on the taskbar, or you can click Close Button image to exit.

Microsoft online resources

If you are connected to the Internet, you have access to updated information and links to training courses, articles and product updates.

Before you begin, make sure you have an active Internet connection.

  1. On the Help menu, click Office Online.

  2. Follow the instructions on the Web page.

  3. When you are done, click Close Button image to return to Accounting 2009.

Accounting 2009 Spotlight

Before you begin, make sure you have an active Internet connection.

  1. In the Navigation Pane, click Company, Customers, Suppliers, Employees or Banking.

  2. In the Spotlight pane on the right, click a link to open a Web page with additional information about Accounting 2009 and other services available to you.

    This information is refreshed regularly.

  3. Follow the instructions on the Web page.

  4. When you are done, click Close Button image to return to Accounting 2009.
