Export addresses from the Junk Email Filter Lists

You can export your Outlook Junk Email Filter lists as text files.

If you want to share, copy, or print your Junk Email Filter lists, you can export them as a plain text (.txt) file.

  1. In Mail, click the Home tab.

  2. In the Delete group, click Junk, and then click Junk Email Options.

  3. On the Safe Senders, Safe Recipients, or Blocked Senders tab, click Export to File.

  4. Select where you want to save the file.

  5. In the File name box, enter a name for the file.

  6. Click Save.

Note:  If you export the Safe Senders list, and the Also trust email from my Contacts check box is selected, only the email addresses that appear in the Safe Senders list are exported.

If you want to share or copy Junk Email Filter lists, you can export them as a plain text (.txt) file.

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.

  2. On the Preferences tab, under E-mail, click Junk E-mail.

  3. Click the Safe Senders, Safe Recipients, or Blocked Senders tab.

  4. Click Export to File.

  5. In the Save in list, click the drive, folder, or Internet location where you want to save the file.

  6. In the File name box, enter a name for the file.

  7. Click Save.

Notes: 

  • If you export the Safe Senders list, and the Also trust e-mail from my Contacts check box is selected, only the email addresses that appear in the Safe Senders list are exported.

  • To print one of the Junk Email Filter lists after you export the file, open it in Notepad or in another program that supports plain text (.txt) file format, and then print the file.
