Export Customer Statement to Word dialog box: options and information

In the Export Customer Statement To Word dialog box, you can export a customer statement to Microsoft Office Word.

Open the dialog box

To open the Export Customer Statement To Word dialog box, in a customer record, on the Actions menu, point to Customer Statement and then select Export to Word.

Dialog box options

The dialog box contains the following options.

Option

Description

Balance forward

Select this option to show:

  • The balance due at the date entered in the Statement period from field.

  • The activity in the period between the dates entered in the Statement period from and Statement period to fields.

All open invoices as of End date

Select this option to display the detail of all open invoices at the date entered in the Statement period to field.

Statement period from

(Required.) This box appears only when the Balance forward option is selected. Click the Statement period from arrow to open the calendar and select the beginning date of the statement. You can also enter the date directly in the Statement period from field, for example, 4/1/2004. If you enter 4/1, Microsoft Office Accounting 2008 adds the current financial year.

Statement period to

(Required.) Click the Statement period to arrow to open the calendar and select the ending date of the statement. You can also enter the date directly in the Statement period to field, for example, 4/1/2004. If you enter 4/1, Microsoft Office Accounting 2008 adds the current financial year.

Comments to customer

Type any comments to the customer that you want to appear on the statement.
